Do you remember being a teenager and being curious about dating? Renessa Rios created a foundation called “Sweet 16 Foundation.” This foundation is to support teen boys and girls about education in dating. “Sweet 16″ is to help provide awareness to dating, empowering them with self-esteem builders, self-confidence, and supporting them to make positive decisions about dating and their future. We work with schools and teen crisis centers in Seattle and Eastside area inspiring and changing lives of teens curious about dating.
Donations from events, classes and membership fees help create resources for these teens. With these donations, “Sweet 16″ Foundation supplies local teens with positive books, journals, mentor-ship and pamphlets to creating a supporting environment to ask questions and make positive decisions for their future in dating.
If you are interested in becoming more involved, we are always looking for volunteers, teachers, school officials, and organizers in the community to help us build a stable community to support these teens.
